At one time, Filk and Filkers were persona non grata at SF Cons, but we fooled everyone, and kept on singing, much like dandelions in the lawn. Kathy Mar and friends started the Dandelion Conspiracy, and I wrote this for them. The original dates from the Holocaust Concentration Camps, which is not to say that the attitude of certain ConComs was akin to the management of those places.

This is the CD I listen to (and sing along with) in the car on my daily commute.
My favourite is The Wyverary, a fantastic beast in a fantastic song . But I also love Villian's Cat and Hydrogen Burns. (And one of these days I'm going to catch that red dot too!!)
I only "discovered" Cat Faber a few months ago - and then looked at some of the other filk songs I love and found she had written those as well :-) Lesley Moore
